Foundations Directive 002: The Comfort Protocol

After Neutrino Computers’ victory in the first Foundations Directive, their precision mapping systems now form the backbone of Avesta’s terraforming efforts. Satellites orbiting high above the Eilo Archipelago scan every coastline and mountain, turning the unknown into data and paving the way for new expansion.

But while the machines hum, whispers are beginning to be heard that the Seedlings who keep them running are beginning to struggle. Early reports from Seedling outposts describe sleepless nights, cold habitats, and exhaustion spreading through the workforce. Amid the tension, two powerful voices have emerged, and once again, the future of Avesta hangs in the balance.

KOJA vs. Neutrino Computers

KOJA, a leading furnishing company under Seed Industries, believes Avesta’s progress shouldn't come at the expense of its people. Their solution: the Plaxin Bed, a modular sleeping system crafted from lightweight plaxin, giving every Seedling a place to rest, recover, and recharge for the work that lies ahead.

Neutrino Computers, however, claims that comfort is a luxury that can wait. Their cooling systems are under immense pressure from continuous mapping operations. Without the immediate deployment of Cooling Fans, the entire environmental network could fail, jeopardizing the stability of Avesta’s terraforming process altogether.

How to Participate

  • Support KOJA by selling as many Plaxin Beds to Seed Industries as you can.

  • Support Neutrino Computers by selling as many Cooling Fans to Seed Industries as you can.

Each item sold = 1 point toward your chosen faction. The society with the highest total points wins the challenge.

Challenge Duration: October 16th – October 30th

Rewards

Participation Rewards
All participating societies will receive a Live Reward (distributed to all society leaders).

  • If Neutrino Computers wins: 300 Plaxin, a strong, flexible synthetic polymer.
     

  • If KOJA wins: 50 Retted Flaxa, refined plant fibers used for durable, breathable materials.
     

Choice Rewards
Leaders of societies aligned with the winning faction will receive:

  • If Neutrino Computers wins: 2 Neutrino Cooling Nodes, a monument to precision and stability, symbolizing Avesta’s environmental balance.
     

  • If KOJA wins: 3 Seedling’s Embrace Satues, a statue honoring the workers who shaped Avesta, reminding all that progress must preserve humanity.
     

Challenge Reward
The society with the highest total points will earn the Seed Industries Hologram, a radiant tribute to balance and excellence in the Comfort Protocol.

This campaign challenges both Cultivators and Seedlings to achieve ambitious goals in wealth, happiness, employment, and Plaxin output, which will help mitigate the threat of Siro spores and allow us to capture the vital data we need for successful expansion.

The opening of the Eilo Archipelago has begun, but Seed Industries is already facing critical shortages. The grand project of terraforming Avesta is being slowed by conflicting priorities between Seed Industries’ own subsidiaries:

​

  • Frontiers Engineering demands more power for large-scale terraforming. They insist on exponential drilling capability to carve out the land for future Seedling settlements. Their operations require massive numbers of Drill Heads.

​

  • Neutrino Computers argue that without precise mapping and scanning, terraforming risks wasting resources and destabilizing the archipelago. They push for advanced computing capacity, requiring vast amounts of Circuit Boards.

​

As the debate intensifies, societies across Avesta are called upon to take a stand. Who will you support, and what vision for Avesta’s future will you help shape?

  • Support Frontiers Engineering → Sell as many Drill Heads to Seed Industries on the market as possible. Your backing ensures terraforming proceeds with unmatched speed and power, opening up land faster than ever before.

  • Support Neutrino Computers → Sell as many Circuit Boards to Seed Industries on the market as possible. Your support guarantees the archipelago will be mapped with precision, laying a stable and sustainable foundation for expansion.

 

Your society’s decision will not only decide which Seed Industries subsidiary takes the lead but will also shape the next steps of Avesta’s terraforming. Will Avesta’s future be one of raw force and expansion, or of careful planning and technological mastery?
