Delivery Ducks Strike Again

We wouldn’t be the UNN if we didn’t write about the latest quacking controversy shaking up Avesta’s societies: Delivery Ducks are refusing to work as scheduled. Yes, you heard that right, the reliable, hardworking Delivery Ducks seem to have gone on strike (again), are getting lost in the dense forests of Avesta, or, perhaps, just aren’t working properly. This is what we will investigate in this article.

So, what’s really going on with these duck couriers? Are they on strike, or is there something deeper to the issue? Let’s take a closer look. 

One theory has emerged from Seedster, who believes the problem lies at the very heart of the Ducks’ journey: door placement. “Do the ducks move at all, or do they move and not take anything? I’ve found adding new doors to the building seems to fix pathing issues,” Seedster explained. If true, this could be a simple fix for those whose Ducks seem to get stuck or confused along their delivery routes. But the question remains: how can the placement of a door affect an entire Duck delivery system?

Others have reported more bizarre issues. Cultivators have noticed that Delivery Ducks are getting stuck in inboxes, unable to deliver to their destinations. This leads us to wonder: could there be a Duckception going on? One user, zanokei, shared their frustration: “Can I please have a duck in Oredale or my current ones released? I accidentally packed them all to send to another building and now I have none lmao.” 

But not all issues are as simple as pathing or missing ducks. In Novalith, reports suggest the ducks are still on strike, and it’s unclear when they’ll be back to their old delivery duties. “Looks like in Novalith, ducks are still on strike,” said Volpin, one of the many observers noticing the halt in services.

So, what’s really going on with the Delivery Ducks? Are they on strike? Are they trapped in some cycle of miscommunication and poor pathfinding? While there are multiple theories, it seems that this issue is not yet resolved. There are, however, whispers of a fix for the duck problems in the works.
