The Processing Challenge entered turbulent waters yesterday after Cultivators across Avesta reported discrepancies in the officially released standings. What began as routine figures from Seed Industries quickly turned into confusion when several societies noticed omissions and skewed totals.
The first indication of a problem came from Venatoria, where Cultivator Taco publicly queried the numbers, stating: “Odd… yesterday alone, I’ve sold >360 pancakes.”
Shortly afterward, an Axiom agent issued a statement taking responsibility for the disturbance: “We as Axiom claim this disruption, despite the best efforts of Seed Industries! Data streams are not always going in the right direction!”
Seed Industries confirmed that an external interference had caused a temporary fault in the data stream. Engineers worked through the cycle to isolate the disruption, restore the system, and recalculate all affected tallies. According to an official response from Synthia Nexus, “All systems are now secure, and reporting integrity has been fully restored.”
With the glitch resolved, we can now issue the corrected standings and they present a clearer picture of the challenge.
Axiom Support — Tomato Soup
Open Society: 3.05k
Venatoria: 2.94k
Concordia: 1.34k
Phoenix: 87
Nexus: 4
Despite Axioms tampering with the data, they maintain a decisive lead. Open Society and Venatoria continue to anchor the rebellion’s supply lines with significant soup production.
Quito Foods Support — Pumpkin Pancakes
Venatoria: 558
Phoenix: 78
Nexus: 23
Support for Quito Foods remains smaller but consistent, with Venatoria contributing the majority of pancake output following data correction.
With the corrected numbers in place, Tomato Soup remains firmly ahead. Seed Industries emphasized that safeguards have been reinforced to prevent further disruptions, and Axiom has not issued additional comment (yet).
Cultivators across The Eilo Archipelago continue to face a choice: Will they continue to fuel Axiom’s protest efforts? Or will they reinforce Quito Foods and the stability of the MX Terraformers? What exactly is this ‘Soupstorm’ protest entail anyway?
The UNN will continue to monitor developments as they unfold.
