Avesta’s Crops: If Terraforming Were Easy, We’d Call It Gardening

Across Avesta, Seedlings are rolling up their sleeves and learning one simple truth: crops on this planet require attention. It seems that Avesta’s harvestables are proving themselves to be as dramatic as they are delicious.
“They’re needy AF,” one Cultivator admitted affectionately, while another confessed to “babysitting” their crops – one thinks of doting parents. And yet, through the trials of tending to these temperamental plants, sprouts are indeed beginning to rise (and new culinary dishes are on the horizon). In fact, we might need a whole new section to the UNN for food and recipes. What do you think?
Over in Tolaria, Cultivator Kamex proudly showed off a field of glowing orange pumpkins, a shining example of what patience (and a good water source) can achieve. “Pretty good so far!” they reported, with the calm satisfaction of someone who’s cracked the code.
Meanwhile, SlimJ’s slow-growing pumpkins are nearly ready, a testament to perseverance and plant diplomacy. “It’s taken me since Friday,” they said, “but they’re almost done.”
So yes, Avesta’s crops may demand attention, affection, and maybe a pep talk or two, but isn’t that what makes them special? After all, if terraforming were easy, we’d call it gardening.
Here’s to the Cultivators out there keeping their crops hydrated, their spirits high, and their Seedlings ready to tend to them. On Avesta, even the crops have character. The UNN will continue to follow the progress of farming on Avesta in the coming weeks and will report back.
