A Mountain Appears Overnight in Avalon

Avesta citizens awoke to a monstrous mountain right in the middle of their town!

Avalon awoke today to find its skyline dramatically and mysteriously altered. A mountain, previously absent, has erupted in the center of the society, leaving Seedlings and Cultivators alike bewildered.

“Where did this mountain come from?” asked Avalon’s leader, Staticsprite, as reports surfaced of equipment being swallowed by the encroaching terrain. “It’s eating our machines!” they added, sharing an image that has since spread across Avesta’s networks.

Other societies scrambled to check their own landscapes for anomalies. “Nexus terrain looks unchanged,” confirmed Stunner, leader of Nexus, adding to the confusion.

For now, the origins of Avalon’s new geological guest remain unknown. Frontiers Engineering has yet to issue an official statement, though early whispers suggest a possible anomaly in the MX TR 8000 terraforming subroutines; the ancient machines used during the Surface Terraforming phase of Avesta.

Others, however, speak of stranger forces. Could this be an unintended reactivation triggered by shifting Initial Conditions, or a manifestation of Avesta’s own response to overdevelopment?

Whether a rogue terraforming event or a symptom of the planet’s mysterious climate, one thing is clear: something beneath Avalon has awakened.
