Following controversy over land ownership in Prosperia Prime, colony leader Garret has defended his decision to sanction Cultivator Bogul, arguing that the move was necessary to prevent economic exploitation.
According to Garret, the issue was not about owning multiple plots but rather Bogul’s alleged attempt to create artificial scarcity. “The sanctions on Bogul were because he bought up all of the empty plots and immediately re-listed them for five times the original amount at 10k per plot to scalp them,” Garret explained. He maintained that Prosperia Prime welcomes development but does not tolerate bad-faith behavior.
Garret also noted that multiple other Cultivators own several plots without issue. He claims that once faced with sanctions, Bogul quickly changed course, de-listing the land and shifting to another venture, not because he had originally intended to build housing.
With tensions high, Prosperia Prime’s strict governance continues to spark debate on the balance between free enterprise and economic stability.
We asked Bogul for a comment on this story but they have not replied to our request.
