Some Cultivators in Prosperia Prime seem to have missed the fine print when signing up for life in a dictatorship. The latest controversy? A heated land dispute between colony leader Garret and newcomer Bogul, who had the AUDACITY to assume he could buy property and use it (crazy thought, right?) To Garret it was exactly that.
The conflict began when Bogul purchased multiple plots of land, intending to develop housing. However, Garret viewed the move as an attempt at land speculation, arguing that such hoarding threatened the colony’s economic stability. “If you kill the colony before it gets set up, then there is no money to be made. It all fails,” he warned.
When Bogul refused to re-list the land at the original price, Garret swiftly pulled out the dictator’s handbook, banning him from government services and shutting down any access to trade or colony programs. In short: comply, or starve.
Frustrated, Bogul insisted he was trying to contribute by building housing, but Garret rejected the idea, maintaining that individuals should develop their own plots rather than rely on a single owner. When Bogul accused him of hoarding land himself, Garret dismissed the complaint. “Welcome to a dictatorship,” he said. “If you don’t like the rules, then you can move.”
With migration now an option, Bogul faces a choice: accept the iron rule of Prosperia Prime or take his talents to a colony that appreciates his entrepreneurial spirit. One thing’s for sure: land ownership in Prosperia is less about real estate and more about knowing your place.
