In Brutopia, Every Duck Counts

In a society as bold and distinct as Brutopia, it should come as no surprise that even the duck delivery drones come with a personal touch. Across the landscape, ducks like Quacky Chan, Platforma McWaddle, and Metro Quacker crisscross the terrain with purpose, and with names.

Cultivator Ixperienced explains the motivation behind the trend: “Two main reasons, really. Firstly, it's satisfying to see how efficient the ducks are, covering long distances, completing deliveries that start or finish close to their designated start point. Giving them names makes it easier to track them individually.”

But it’s not just about logistics. “Naming the ducks adds a touch of personality and identity, both to the ducks themselves and the areas they operate in. It just makes the whole experience more fun and connected.”

This wasn’t a solo project either. “Definitely a group effort! Some of those names are absolute gold—I could never have come up with them on my own,” Ixperienced admits, citing Quacky Chan as a standout favorite. “All active Brutopians have had input, and will continue to have a say in naming ducks in the future. It’s a proper community thing.”

As for whether the ducks actually benefit from this new identity? “Oh, absolutely,” they say. “Giving them names helps sever their connection to the cold, mechanical world of duck delivery drones and reintegrates them into the warm, living world of Brutopia. Some of them might slow down now and then to explore their own paths or follow their dreams but ultimately, they’ll be happier, more fulfilled, and far more productive ducks because of it.”

At the heart of it all is a deep respect for these mechanical workhorses. “The Ducks of Avesta are literally the backbone of our society,” Ixperienced adds. “That’s why we put real thought into naming each one, considering their environment, their mission, and their vibes.”

Brutopians are encouraged to get involved: “Every Brutopian citizen has the right to start their own duck farm at any time. We’ve got plenty of ducks ready to rehome at a moment’s notice, and always more waiting to be liberated from the Collective and welcomed into Brutopia. Long live the ducks!!”
