The outgoing President Christopher. Is he burned out?

We write with breaking news from last night (SDT, Standard Dezima Time) when at just before 20:00 hours (SDT) we got a submission informing of an important change to Novalith. As far as we can tell, there was no foul play or blackmail involved! But the reign of Christopher is over. We publish here the full statement:

Fellow Novalithians,

First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to each of you for helping shape Novalith into the thriving society it is today. From our humble beginnings—chopping down trees—to building businesses, establishing a functional economy, and overcoming every challenge thrown our way, your dedication has been the driving force behind our progress.

Unfortunately, real-life commitments have been demanding more of my time, making it increasingly difficult for me to fully dedicate myself to the presidential role you all deserve. Because of this, I have made the decision to entrust @.fiero with leading Novalith in my absence. I ask for your full support as they take on this responsibility, ensuring that our society continues to grow and evolve.

That said, this is not a farewell. I will remain active here on Discord, so feel free to reach out with any questions. I will also check in whenever possible in-game, and if a reset occurs, you can count on me to return and support you all once again.

Thank you for being part of this journey—Novalith is in good hands, and its future remains bright. :saluting_face:

I have seen her spending significant, consistent effort not only to build up the government and the framework that makes everyone else's gameplay easier, but also has been outstanding in her support of other players, answering questions, taking care of issues, and making the game feel more welcoming. As much as I would not wish the role of president on anyone, I am encouraged that we have someone with such strong character and commitment offering to take up the mantle. Thank you Willow for all that you have done and will continue to do!

There have been lots of changes that we had to adjust to in this deployment, and you did a great job of leading us, making the hard decisions and encouraging and helping us all to work together to build a solid foundation.’
