Subways Shut Down as Seedling Fatalities Rise

Avesta's suddenly deadly subway system is taking the lives of Seedlings.

A growing number of Seedling deaths have raised alarm across Avesta, with many pointing to a particularly grim culprit: the subway system.

While the idea of mass transit was once a symbol of progress and connectivity, the tragic reality has become clear. According to Cultivator SlimJ, “there is indeed something in them subways (they go in and get frozen in place and slowly die of well usually lack of sleep, but whatever stat is the lowest really).”

These deaths, slow and strange, have left societies scrambling for solutions, and in Prosperia Prime, drastic action has already been taken. Cultivator Garret, the society’s leader, shared the difficult decision made in light of the crisis: “I have destroyed the PROPSERIA subway stations in an attempt to save the seeds. A sad day to see our great subway system go.”

Not all efforts were successful, however. “It seems I can’t destroy one of them,” Garret added. “But with no destinations, hopefully no seeds enter them.”

Meanwhile, some Cultivators are realizing they may have dodged the issue entirely. Cultivator Seedster reflected, “The only one ever built in Elysium was from the thief of funds. It was quickly destroyed to avoid bad mojo from such a character.”

While many once dreamed of high-speed travel connecting the far reaches of Avesta, the current situation has turned those dreams into nightmares. Until a fix is found, societies may have to rethink what convenience is really worth, especially when the cost is Seedling lives. And then there’s the question: is this a sign of things to come?
