“They are Seeds Afterall”: When Venatoria Went Underwater

Venatoria made quite the splash this week, literally, after parts of the society appeared to be submerged beneath several meters of water. The unexpected deluge, believed to be the result of another Axiom terror attack or a terraforming geoengineering effort gone horribly wrong, turned familiar streets into a watery landscape overnight.

Instead of panic, however, Venatorians took it all in their stride. “Instead of watering the crops, they watered each other,” joked society leader Willow, “They are seeds, after all.”

Cultivator Taco remained equally unfazed, noting optimistically, “Well, at least I get to see some interesting things.” Later, when a fellow Venatorian, Maowhaus, posted a photo of their half-submerged home, they remarked, “I appreciate that I still have my rooftop, despite the lack of a roof. Or walls.” To which Taco responded without missing a beat: “That’s also a flood-proof roof.”

From the looks of things, Venatoria handled its brief stint as Avesta’s water-based Unihaven with style (and level-headedness). Some Seedlings were even spotted standing calmly atop the surface, as if pondering their own ability to swim to a surrounding society.

While the situation has since returned to normal, one thing is clear: Avesta’s unpredictable anomalies continue to keep Cultivators and Seedlings on their toes. This recent event also suggests a potential and profitable new market for boat enterprises on Avesta.

As for Venatoria, the society seems none the worse for wear. Their crops remain mostly intact, spirits high, and morale buoyant. Perhaps, in some small way, the great “Venatorian Flood” was less a disaster and more an interface error for the Cultivators as they looked down on Aveta.

What's to say this wasn't Axiom? Even if temporarily....
