Trees and Rocks Invade Nova Roma Homes

Trees and rocks don't seem to have boundaries in Nova Roma.

Nova Roma residents are facing an unusual challenge: spontaneous bursts of nature appearing inside their homes. Cultivator Maowhaus was one of the first to report the strange phenomenon, which began shortly after claiming their plot.

"When I initially bought my plot, it contained a few trees that could not be harvested, and two large rocks that could," said Maowhaus. "I was designing my first building, then canceled out of build mode. Suddenly, numerous trees and rocks appeared all over my plot, and I didn't have a single free square to build on!"

The unexpected invasion seemed almost personal. "Clearly, the planet is rejecting our intrusion, and my plot was where it decided to start fighting back," they added.

Fortunately, the mysterious flora didn’t last forever. "When I logged on later, the additional trees & rocks had disappeared, and I was able to build as usual," Maowhaus explained. "I still have a large tree in my house, but I was able to build my elevator inside of it. Talk about living in harmony with nature!!"

But the peace was short-lived.

"A real-life day or so later, I logged on and found a whole forest inside my house," Maowhaus said. "My inbox was swallowed whole by a large boulder! I wanted to place some new furniture, but the trees were in my way. My seedlings weren't bothered by it, but I'd say it was pretty inconvenient."

Whether this is a planetary defense mechanism or a glitch of some kind remains unclear. For now, Nova Roma citizens are advised to keep an eye on their interiors. We will continue to update this story as we hear more.
