Yonkersville Digs Deep: First Mine, Fresh Water, and a Bright Purple Future

Yonkersville's future is just as bright as its layout.
Yonkersville's future is just as bright as its layout.

Yonkersville has struck a new milestone. In a statement from Cultivator SlimJ of the House of the Purple, the society announced the establishment of its very first mine, constructed entirely through local engineering, determination, and no small amount of Seedcoin.

The mine is now operational and offering employment opportunities. “In order to make the society go, it’s important we try to fill all vacant miner jobs,” SlimJ urged, calling on fellow Yonkonians to step forward and take part in the city’s economic foundation.

But Yonkersville isn’t stopping at mining. Two major businesses, led by Gareth and Kiel, have taken root, employing Seedlings and raising new structures “plank by plank.” Their progress is already visible in the landscape, signaling a new era of industry.

In an equally crucial development, Yonkersville has secured access to fresh water, clear of the murk that has plagued other settlements. Efforts are now underway to expand this success into a fully functioning waterworks, contingent, as always, on available Seedling power.

With industry, infrastructure, and fresh water, Yonkersville is rapidly carving out its place on Avesta. As SlimJ put it, the future looks nothing short of bright purple.
